20/20 Imaging Brings First Dual Panel Digital System for Podiatry Market to APMA

July 20th, 2015

Anatomically Programmed, High-Frequency X-Ray System Provides Faster Throughput and Easier Positioning

GARNER, NC--(Marketwired - Jul 20, 2015) - (APMA Booth #1104) -- 20/20 Imaging, a leader in small market imaging with nearly 4,500 installations across the country, announced today that the first dual panel configuration for the podiatry market will make its debut at the upcoming American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Annual Scientific Meeting in Orlando, FL., July 23 - 26, 2015. The dual panel will be an added feature to the already existing HF PXS-710 digital x-ray system.

The new 10x12 HG+ DR dual panel design brings significant advancements to podiatric imaging in both the ease-of-positioning and throughput. Due to the dual-panel design, both AP and lateral positioning can effortlessly be achieved. With the automated design, all exams - including weight-bearing exams - can be completed without difficulty, eliminating any physical stress that staff may have previously had with single panel systems or potentially wireless. Additionally, exams can be selected right at the technologist workstation instead of manually set by positioning detectors. With one click in the software, the operator is assured of both the correct anatomical x-ray technique and image processing.

"We listened to podiatrists and their staff, we watched first-hand their process, and we innovated so that now 20/20 Imaging is first to market with a dual-panel digital x-ray system for podiatry," stated Bob Salzman, president, 20/20 Imaging. "The feedback we have received from facilities who have had a first look at the system is overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to a great response at APMA."

The dual panel configuration is an optional upgrade to the current HF PXS-710. The system is also the first anatomically programmed digital x-ray system for podiatry, providing proper x-ray technique at the push of button. And because there is no need to physically handle panels, it is a safe investment from risk of dropping or other damage that comes from transporting panels.
